These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the Group Acca mobile application ("the App") and any related services provided by Group Acca ("we", "us", "our").

By downloading, installing, or using the App, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree to these Terms, you must not use the App.

These Terms should be read alongside our Privacy Policy, which explains how we collect and use your personal data.

Group Acca is an independently operated application run by private individuals trading under the name "Group Acca". We are not a registered company. References to "we", "us", and "our" throughout these Terms refer to the individuals operating Group Acca.

The App is designed for users based in the United Kingdom. We do not represent that the App is appropriate for use in any other jurisdiction.

You may only use the App if you meet all of the following conditions:

• •You are at least 18 years of age. During account creation you will be asked to confirm that you are aged 18 or over. By making that declaration and continuing to use the App, you confirm this is true. The App is not intended for use by anyone under the age of 18.
• •You have the legal capacity to enter into a binding contract under the laws of the jurisdiction in which you reside.
• •Your use of the App is not prohibited by any applicable law or regulation.
• •You are registering as a private individual and not as a commercial operator, tipster service, or gambling business.

We reserve the right to refuse access to the App to any person at our discretion.

To use the App you must create an account using Apple Sign In. When registering, you agree to:

• •Provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration and keep it up to date.
• •Maintain the confidentiality of your account credentials and not share them with any other person.
• •Accept responsibility for all activity that occurs under your account, whether or not authorised by you.
• •Notify us immediately at hello@group-acca.com if you become aware of any unauthorised use of your account or any breach of security.
• •Register only one account. Creating multiple accounts is not permitted.

We will not be liable for any loss or damage arising from your failure to comply with this section.

Group Acca is a social coordination and bet-tracking application. It allows private groups of friends to organise group betting activities, record team picks, and track the success of those picks over time.

You must understand the following limitations before using the App:

• •Group Acca is not a licensed gambling operator. We do not hold a licence from the UK Gambling Commission or any other regulatory body.
• •We do not accept, hold, process, or transfer any money or funds on behalf of users. Any financial arrangements between group members are entirely private and take place outside the App.
• •We do not place bets on behalf of users. Any betting activity associated with a group takes place independently, through third-party bookmakers chosen by the group admin.
• •Fixture information, match odds, and results data displayed in the App are sourced from third-party data providers. This information is provided for social coordination purposes only and does not constitute financial, gambling, or betting advice.
• •The App does not guarantee the accuracy or completeness of any fixture or results data. In the event of any discrepancy between data displayed in the App and official match results, official sources shall prevail.

The App allows users to create and join private groups. The following terms apply to group functionality:

• •The user who creates a group becomes the group admin. Admins have control over group settings including group name, stake amount, weekly round configuration, and member management.
• •Group admins act in a private capacity on behalf of their group members. Group Acca is not a party to any arrangement between group members and accepts no liability for the actions or decisions of a group admin.
• •All financial arrangements between group members — including stakes, payouts, and settlements — are private matters between those individuals. Group Acca does not participate in, facilitate, or have any visibility of any financial settlement.
• •Group admins are responsible for ensuring that the stake amount, pick configuration, and results they set within the App are accurate. We accept no liability for errors made by group admins in configuring rounds or recording outcomes.
• •Members who join a group do so voluntarily. By joining a group, you accept the rules and configuration set by that group's admin.
• •The Split Acca feature allows admins to divide a betting round into sub-groups. Members affected by a split will be notified via push notification. Any financial implications of a split are the responsibility of the group admin and members to agree upon independently.

Group Acca will not mediate disputes between group members or between a member and their group admin. Any such disputes are a private matter between the individuals concerned.

When you make a selection or pick within the App, you acknowledge the following:

• •Picks are recorded for the purpose of social tracking within your private group. They do not constitute a bet placed with any bookmaker or gambling operator.
• •Fixture and odds data is sourced from a third-party sports data API (api-sports.io). We do not control this data and cannot guarantee its accuracy, timeliness, or completeness.
• •Odds displayed in the App are shown for informational purposes only. They are not a recommendation to bet, and they may not reflect the odds available at any bookmaker at the time you place a bet.
• •Outcome tracking (win, loss, void) is based on data received from third-party sources. We are not liable for any financial consequence arising from a discrepancy between App-recorded outcomes and actual match results.
• •We reserve the right to correct or update outcome data where we become aware of an error, but we are under no obligation to do so.

Group Acca is a social tracking tool. It is not a gambling product. However, we acknowledge that many users will use the App in connection with real-money betting activities conducted independently, and we take our responsibilities seriously.

• •The App is strictly for users aged 18 and over. Gambling and betting are only legal for adults in the United Kingdom.
• •You are responsible for ensuring that any betting activity you undertake independently is lawful in the jurisdiction in which you are located.
• •We encourage all users to gamble responsibly. If you or someone you know may have a problem with gambling, free, confidential support is available.

The App allows you to submit content including your username, group names, profile photo, and feature request submissions ("User Content").

By submitting User Content, you grant Group Acca a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to store, display, and use that content solely for the purpose of providing the App's features to you and your group members. You retain ownership of any content you submit.

You must not submit any content that:

• •Is unlawful, offensive, harassing, discriminatory, racist, threatening, or defamatory.
• •Infringes the intellectual property rights, privacy rights, or any other rights of any third party.
• •Contains personal data of another person submitted without their consent.
• •Promotes gambling services, commercial tipster activity, or any commercial purpose.
• •Impersonates any person or entity.

We reserve the right to remove any User Content that we determine, in our sole discretion, violates these Terms or is otherwise harmful, without notice or liability to you.

All intellectual property rights in the App, including but not limited to its design, code, graphics, and content (excluding User Content and third-party data), belong to the operators of Group Acca. "Group Acca" and associated branding are unregistered trade marks of the Group Acca operators. All rights are reserved.

We grant you a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to use the App for your own private, non-commercial purposes in accordance with these Terms.

You must not:

• •Copy, reproduce, modify, or create derivative works from any part of the App.
• •Reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract the source code of the App.
• •Use any automated means to access, scrape, or harvest data from the App.
• •Use any Group Acca branding, trade marks, or materials without our prior written consent.
• •Sub-licence, sell, resell, transfer, or otherwise commercially exploit the App or access to it.

When using the App, you must not:

• •Use the App for any unlawful purpose or in any way that violates applicable law or regulation.
• •Attempt to gain unauthorised access to any part of the App, its systems, or the accounts of other users.
• •Introduce any virus, malware, or other harmful code into the App.
• •Use the App to harass, intimidate, or abuse other users.
• •Create a false identity or impersonate any person.
• •Register more than one account.
• •Use the App to operate any commercial tipping, affiliate, or betting advisory service.
• •Attempt to circumvent any security or access control measures within the App.
• •Interfere with the integrity or performance of the App or its underlying infrastructure.

The App integrates with or relies upon the following third-party services. Your use of these services is subject to their own terms and privacy policies, and we have no control over their availability, accuracy, or conduct:

• •Apple Sign In and Apple Push Notification Service (APNs) — used for authentication and push notifications. Subject to Apple's Terms of Service at apple.com/legal.
• •Supabase — used as the App's backend database and authentication infrastructure. Subject to Supabase's Terms of Service at supabase.com/terms.
• •API-Sports (api-sports.io) — used to provide football fixture, results, and odds data. We do not guarantee the accuracy of data sourced from this provider.
• •Monzo (optional) — if you provide your Monzo username, the App may generate a deep link to the Monzo application to assist with payment settlement between group members. This is entirely optional. Group Acca has no access to your Monzo account and is not a party to any transaction made via Monzo. Your use of Monzo is subject to Monzo's own Terms and Conditions.

We are not liable for any failure, inaccuracy, outage, or conduct of any third-party service, or for any loss or damage arising from your use of such services.

We do not guarantee that the App will be available at all times. The App is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis.

• •We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue the App, or any part of it, at any time and without notice.
• •We may update these Terms, the App, and its features from time to time.
• •We are not liable for any interruption, suspension, or termination of the App, or for any loss of data or content resulting from service changes.
• •Scheduled or unscheduled maintenance may result in temporary unavailability of the App.

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Group Acca excludes all liability for:

• •Any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, however caused.
• •Loss of profits, revenue, data, business, goodwill, or reputation.
• •Any financial loss arising from decisions made in connection with fixture data, odds information, or outcome tracking displayed in the App.
• •Any financial dispute between group members, including unpaid stakes, disagreements over outcomes, or losses arising from group betting activities.
• •Any failure, inaccuracy, or unavailability of third-party data or services on which the App relies.
• •Any unauthorised access to or use of your account where you have not complied with your obligations under Section 4.

Nothing in these Terms limits or excludes our liability for:

• •Death or personal injury caused by our negligence.
• •Fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation.
• •Any other liability that cannot be limited or excluded under applicable law, including rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015.

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Group Acca and its team members from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses (including reasonable legal costs) arising from or in connection with: (a) your use of the App in breach of these Terms; (b) your User Content; (c) any financial dispute between you and other group members; or (d) any infringement by you of any third party's rights.

Termination by you: You may delete your account at any time via your profile settings within the App. Upon deletion, your personal data will be permanently removed within 30 days in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

Termination or suspension by us: We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account immediately and without notice if we determine, in our sole discretion, that you have breached these Terms, engaged in prohibited conduct, or that your continued use of the App poses a risk to other users or the integrity of the service.

Effect of termination: Upon termination of your account:

• •Your access to the App will be revoked immediately.
• •Your personal data — including your profile, username, profile photo, and associated records — will be permanently deleted within 30 days in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
• •Your selections and pick history within any groups you belong to will also be permanently deleted as part of account removal.
• •If you are the admin of one or more groups, those groups will become read-only upon your account deletion. Existing members will retain access to view the group's history, but no new rounds can be created. We recommend notifying your group members before deleting your account.

Any financial balances or obligations between group members remain the private responsibility of those individuals and are unaffected by account termination within the App.

We may update these Terms from time to time to reflect changes in the App, applicable law, or our operating practices. When we make material changes, we will notify you through the App and update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page.

Your continued use of the App following notification of changes constitutes your acceptance of the updated Terms. If you do not agree to the revised Terms, you must stop using the App.

We are committed to protecting your personal data in accordance with the UK General Data Protection Regulation (UK GDPR) and the Data Protection Act 2018. Our Privacy Policy explains in full how we collect, use, store, and protect your personal information, and sets out your rights under UK GDPR.

By using the App, you acknowledge that you have read and understood our Privacy Policy.

These Terms and any dispute or claim arising out of or in connection with them (including non-contractual disputes or claims) shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales. You agree to submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales to resolve any legal matter arising from these Terms or your use of the App, subject to your statutory rights as a consumer.

If you have a complaint or dispute relating to the App, please contact us in the first instance at hello@group-acca.com. We will endeavour to resolve complaints informally and promptly.

If we are unable to resolve a dispute informally, either party may pursue their legal remedies through the courts of England and Wales in accordance with Section 19.

Nothing in this section affects your statutory rights as a consumer.

If any provision of these Terms is found by a court of competent jurisdiction to be invalid, unlawful, or unenforceable, that provision shall be severed and the remaining provisions shall continue in full force and effect.

These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and Group Acca in relation to your use of the App and supersede all prior agreements, representations, and understandings.
